The day of rest~AlbelxFayt//Star Ocean 3

Have you ever thought about how exposed you are when you fall asleep? (That bed scene in 'Paranormal Activity' anyone???) I know for sure that If I'm going to sleep with someone nearby, they need to be someone I can whole heartedly trust to not harm me at my most vulnerable, safeguard me, and not judge my tendency to drool and sleep with my elbows out.

Those of you lucky to have scored the Fayt/Albel ending would've gleaned that Albel isn't the best sleeper in the world, what with the nightmares and all, and that got me thinking that maybe he just needs that little extra reassurance of being watched over to catch some decent Zzz's. Plus I felt this overwhelming urge to draw something sappy, so go me. Bloody hormones. *Cough* >__>;;

"Sunday" is my favourite song by Bloc Party and I've been dying to draw something that encapsulates what I feel when I hear it...to me, it's the simplest and most honest portrayal of modern love, and the guitar solo in the middle unstitches me each and every time. It sounds like a wordless outburst of adoration.

So here we have it - Fayt and Albel enjoying a moment of respite on a lazy Sunday. A spot of sparring, a good read, a nap in the arms of a loved one... how do you enjoy your weekend? ^__^
