ARTIST THOUGHTS: No this isn’t the AlbelxFayt honeymoon comic but it’s a warm up, since I’ve been away from comics for a long time! This comic was inspired by the adorable Christmas prezzie drew for me which featured a hiccupping Fayt (see it here: [link] ). I couldn’t resist the idea of turning the theme into a mini comic, hence behold my first forays into the world of squishy chibis. My range of expressions and things is still very limited though so I need more practice and research, but this will do for now…

So er… who’s got cavities yet? I have a terrible weakness for squishy chibis, so sue me!!! T___T Like I said in the bottom disclaimer, I have no idea if kissing is any cure for hiccups but apparently a good way to get rid of them is to distract the hiccupping person, right? So technically, kissing would count. I think. Not that I’ve TRIED it before but hey, I’m full of stupid theories. Though I wonder if hiccups really are contagious, sorta like yawning?

TECHNICAL STUFF: This comic takes the cake when it comes to the most disjointed pics I’ve ever drawn. X__X It almost felt as though I was making an animation or something since I was slicing body parts and piecing everything together in Photoshop. Panel six features the only image which was drawn in its entirety on paper – everything else is composed of either a separate body, a separate head, moveable arms and portable facial expressions. All up I think there’s about 11 separate pieces. O__o My GAWD each panel is a Frankenstein!

It made colouring a lot easier at least, since I only had to colour one body for both Albel and Fayt and I just kept recycling it coz I’m very lazy. Anyway please enjoy this silly sugar everyone! Things can only get crazier from here on in, and that’s a promise!
